Marriage Enrichment originated in New Mexico in 1974 by founder Rev. Paul M. Baca. The Marriage Enrichment program was established at St. Joseph’s Church in Upland in 1992 .The purpose of the Marriage Enrichment Retreat is to build happier marriages. The program is parish-oriented, which has as its goals: to enrich marriages through sharing of experiences and through reflection; to provide an opportunity to interact with other couples and experience a very real down-to-earth program in which spirituality becomes a living part of every aspect of marriage; to develop the concept of couples growing in the vocation of marriage by including God in marriage, by the sharing of their marriage, and by the sharing of their marriage with others as a sign of Christ’s love to the community; and so much more!
The schedule of the weekend is as follows:
- Friday 6:30 pm -10:00 pm
- Saturday 7:45 am - 8:30 pm
- Sunday 7:45 am - 4:30 pm

Marriage Enrichment-St. Joseph Upland From Jeff & Judy Warhol: We just completed a wonderful M. E. weekend for the first time at St. Anthony's. We're temporarily taking over the coordination of Support Groups for Upland - and we're in desperate need of facilitators for new support groups. Those of you who have been in support groups know how crucial and beneficial support groups are to keep the weekend alive for each of our marriages. We know how close and comforted you feel once you're in a support group and never want to leave. Would you look in your hearts and allow yourself to be unselfish and offer that same experience to these new couples who are for the first time striving to put God in their lives and working on their relationship and feel unsure on how to do all that? You, with your experience in support groups, could be just want they need as the facilitator - someone who will reach out to them in love and keep them on tract (as far as meetings go, etc.) Call us please with your "yes" or email us - 985-7686 or jmwandjjw@hotmail.com You're all wonderful and capable and so generous and loving, we love you!!! Marriage Enrichment-St. Joseph Upland As you may know, Marriage Enrichment has a weekend retreat coming up in a few weeks. This will be our first retreat at St. Anthony's Church in Upland on April 27, 28, & 29th.
